Obama vs. Wright

Obama, Obama, Obama! Yes we can! Change we can believe in! A lot of people poke fun and claim he's just a bunch of empty words, but I don't believe that. I know that he offers promise and a hope for real positive change. So now that he is so close to being able to do something about it, his Reverend of all people is coming to haunt him. I am sick of hearing about this issue. Separation of church and state, that's in one of those amendments right? I think McCain's ties to lobbyists when he claims that he is for ethics is worth more investigation then what Rev. Wright is saying. I'm sure that Clinton has some skeletons in the closet of hers too.

Now I think that if people actually heard the entire sermon Rev. Wright gives, it would change some minds. However, no one cares to listen. He said what? The media loves their sound bites don't they?  Anyway, I think that Rev. Wright makes some good points, but they are political suicide. For Obama's sake I hope he shuts up until after the election. That way the message, which has some decent points in it, can be spread and the candidate most likely to do the most good (Obama) can still be elected.

In a Christian country I cannot believe how moderate we are. Jesus was a radical people wake up! Some people are just mad that Rev. Wright has the courage to say what you need to hear. For example, "the chickens are coming home to roost" is the end of a sermon where he claims that Americans need to focus more on bringing themselves to God, not others. I do not have a problem with that, but I concede that there are more pleasing ways to get the message across.

Hillary Clinton: Where are you from?

It seems in this campaign Hillary Clinton has kept changing where she is from. I thought this New York Senate, married to the former Governor of Arkansas was from Scranton, PA. Isn't that what she said until April 22? Now that the contest has moved to Indiana she is from Illinois. Why would being from the same state as Obama's from help her? Anyway I can't wait for Guam to vote, so we can find out she's from there too.
